07:19 dooky My IP address does tend to jump around a bit through the mysteries of BT Internet, but it's been the same for a
few weeks now (I know this because when it changes I start showing up in my site's referral logs.

07:19 dooky Additionally, I'm quite sure I visited there not long ago, certainly before the last IP shift.

07:22 dooky Now, my ISP has some strange method of 'sharing' single IP addresses across a whole region, so at any one time a bunch of people will have the same IP address as me.

07:25 dooky However we're talking about a site known to almost NOBODY. What are the chances that another BT Internet user, also in a particular segment of North West England, has earned their ire?

07:32 dooky I dunno, I can't stick to them like I used to. Maybe I'm more of a perfectionist now.

07:33 dooky My fics were like 90% dialogue. I'd envision them as anime episodes.

07:33 dooky Occasionally I'd remember I had to write some prose as well. But I sucked at descriptve stuff.

07:34 UltraMatt well I've gotten used to writing in what I call the "WB" style (named after an old old friend)

07:34 UltraMatt which is basically just story/episode summery

07:35 dooky I'm not sure I'll ever go back to fic writing. I'm still tempted occasionally.

07:40 dooky Sometimes I get caught up in tracing the series of coincidences and choices that led me to meeting my girlfriend. It's weird. If I'd done a single thing differently, we'd never have met.

16:04 Bucket I am gonna be donating my extra yarn to this charity I encountered when I was at a convention in January. They teach people to knit and donate knitted clothing to charities.
