19:21 B-NCSU-Mike We've had a successful year, as we added 5 chapters, and we are currently 8 chapters strong.

19:25 B-NCSU-Mike Two holiday seasons ago, the NC State Chapter helped out with the ToysforTots here at campus, because it dealt with board games (in a way) and we didnt have anything else to do.
19:26 B-NCSU-Mike When Montclair University came on board, I learned that they have a convention every year, and they donate proceeds to childsplaycharity.org.
19:26 B-NCSU-Mike I don't know if you guys know what that is, but its really neat. A lot like toys for tots in a way.
19:27 B-NCSU-Mike This is just a proposal, but something we could do as a non-profit organization with so many members is contribute to causes like these, and there are many benefits for us getting into it.

19:38 B-NCSU-Mike We were able to get dice and mats from Chessex last year when we were only three chapters, but thats not nearly enough to keep our individual chapters on their feet.
19:38 B-NCSU-Mike With average club dues of a couple bucks from empty-pocketed college students (and some clubs not having any possible funding at all), in order to keep ourselves running, our clubs need new content.
19:39 B-NCSU-Mike Content to be given away as prizes at contests to raise money for charities (as mentioned above). Content to share with visitors, and content to take with us on the road.
19:39 B-NCSU-Mike What incentives can we provide to sponsors? There are a lot of things our chapters can do for our sponsors; things that aren't unreasonable and aren't unheard of, and that will intice companies to give us the things we need to stay afloat.
19:39 B-NCSU-Mike With over a hundred CATTG gamers in our clubs (and growing) and an internet that is continually providing amazing communications, we can play test for companies like never before.
